Starfire glass, also known by the brand names low iron, Eurowhite, Opti White or Diamante, is a clear transparent glass that is almost tint-free. It achieves this effect because it is produced from higher quality grades of silica sand that are almost totally free of iron oxides

The process of etching Starphire glass or mirror now provides architects and designers with a truly unique design option. The translucent satin appearance can be achieved without the "greening" effect of ordinary clear glass.

Acid-Etch glass is perfect for both interior and exterior applications. They are found in many residential applications such as home decoration and furniture components. Some of the suggested applications are: interior partitions, shelving, interior and exterior doors, railings, furniture components, shower and bath enclosures, and more.                The velour finish is characterized by its smooth surface and lower

light transmittance providing a higher level of opacity.
Opaque finish is also available upon request which is a frosted 

appearance with less light transmittance and less polished surface
